Yes to Your Way Lord

I am sure that none of us could ever imagine saying no to the Lord. But the truth is that we say no everyday. We say no when we live our lives as we see fit. We say no when we continue to live in our sin. And we say no when don't acknowledge Him daily.

I think the Lord deserves more 'yeses' from all of us. He is better to us than any of us deserve. If we just say, yes Lord. Our lives would be better for it. He has plans for our lives. Plans for us to prosper and not fail. If we would just say yes to Him more, His plans and purpose for our lives would start to manifest.

His plans for our lives are far greater than anything that we could imagine for ourselves. For me I never imagined that I would be a writer. I've been a nurse my whole life and thought I'd be one until I retired. But look at God, I just wanted to be able to speak to people about the Lord. And now because of Him I am able to reach so many more people than I ever thought possible. With my book, this blog and at the events that I attend. This all started with me saying yes to Him.

He told me to write a book, I did. And my whole life is changing. I have no idea where this is all going. This is not the plan I had for my life. But one thing for sure is that I will continue to say, yes Lord. You cannot fail when you let Him lead.

He knows what we are capable of. He knows what we want. He knows us better than we know ourselves. So, I dare you to start saying, yes to the Lord more. Yes to His will, yes to His way, yes to His word. See for yourself how your life will change. Especially if you have tried it your way and your way is not working. What do you have to lose?

Jeremiah 29:11-13 11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

2 Corinthians 1:20 20For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.(NIV)

2 Corinthians 1:20 20For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.(KJV)

John 11:27 27"Yes, LORD," she replied, "I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world."
